Patch 1.03 coming!

Came across this over at race department, some nice updates for community teams I hope to see the gps track builder added

http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/19630/article/gran-turismo-6-update-1...

while on the topic of future patches there's a few things I've come across and was wondering if pd has mentioned fixing down the road?

a FFb update for road/curbs the tire FFb is excellent for an aged engine just lacks on the secondary effects

will missing cockpits be updated?  I was a bit disappointed when I bought the BMW touring car and it was just a black interior

:(

braking, I find the stock brakes manageable but the performance upgrade breaks are horrible I can't even rest my foot on the brake without it locking up?

collision damage that don't sound like bumper cars lol

And lastly a possible performance update, the shadows seem to do some weird stuff at times and flicker you can also notice the frame rate dropping a bit a certain tracks.

aside from that for the age of the system they have done a hell of job and iam glad they keep expanding there community features !

Kudos for Grand Turismo...Looks like they have picked up the ball that Forza has dropped and I am Happy they did...Glad someone at PD has the foresight to pounce on the the weaknesses of Forza...Looking forward to a sequel on PS4...Cash is Ready!!yes

I'd love to see vehicle sounds updated bu I don't know if that is even possible.

The idea of course maker is very exciting but I wouldn't mind if it came in at a later date. The reason I say that is because I would probably spend way too much time trying to recreate real world tracks. The ability to create a track and share it with the entire GT6 community is mind blowing, really. Imola, Watkins Glen, Barbagallo, Lime Rock, VIR, Knockhill, Thuxton, Donnington....it goes on and on.

I look forward to the track editor as well, having endless tracks was the main reason I switched over to PC racing over a yr ago.  I hope they are capable of updating the sound cause ATM every car sounds like a leaf blower and sounds are a major immersion factor for me.

What I would die to see in gt7 on ps4 is pd and simbin to join forces as kW springs are a current partner in gt6 and they own simbin.  Simbin created race pro for xbox 360 and was an awesome game for those looking for a more advanced console racer.  Let them do the physics/sounds and it will be mind blowing, hears a sound clip for there raceroom experience for PC

If you use head phone turn up the bass if you can. It really does change the sounds.

Most of the cars are ok its just a few but they should be able to update it as its just a sound file :)

But having said that I know the cars sound better on Forza but hasn't anyone noticed its the same sounds on every car (After a race Exhaust) lol

SIMBIN makes a good product but what I really like about them is that they are Road Racing fans. Almost every title has great tracks but they have a decidedly Euro slant to them. Personally, I like that about them as I feel that GT and Road racing are fantastically done in Europe and ther are some great tracks there. Imola, Donnington, Zolder (one of my personal favorites). Don't get me wrong, NA has some fantastic tracks too: Watkins, Mosport, VIR. Would love to see them all gathered in one title that has advanced graphics, great sound and solid physics. Project CARS, anyone? And even iRacing.

Is there anyone here who has driven PCARS? It would be great to know where they are with the physics.

I heard not to expect PCars to be like Asseto Corsa.

Love Pcars I've been testing it for over a yr the last few months they have been focusing on physics with multiple pro drivers as there consultants....the stig Ben Collins, nic Hamilton to mention a few it still has a way to go but it's on the right patch and personally has more detail in the tire model than assetto corso ATM yet very similar to one another.  A lot of clowns started doing bad reviews of Pcars without having any knowledge of what was going on with the physics.(inside tip when Pcars was released they were using the shift2 engine as a place holder till the new one was released ;) it now runs on the new engine )

And since than a lot of people that wrote it off do too misinformed info have slowly started realizing its a competitor now!

It's funny how all the hardcores labeled Pcars as a simcade like gt5 and fm4 due too to much grip than assetto corsa gets released and has way more available grip than any game I've played yet the fanboys rave about like it's the next coming of Christ ? Lol

the deal breaker for me is Pcars will be available on every platform and is focusing on a game race game and not a production car format, I've yet to hear but I hope they add a track editor to compete with gt7.  They also have started releasing laser scanned tracks that look absolutely beautiful!

I have to admit that I want race game to emphasize RACE Cars more than production cars. Right now I feel like most games/sims are unbalanced. When I see the PCars roster I like what I see. Classic open wheel, modern open wheel, GT cars, DTM, Touring cars, Prototypes. It looks real promising.
