Parcells sucks at night racing, therefore I'm generally against it :) I'm literally 5-10 seconds off a lap...for the most part. When we race it I'll either have to practise big time or be a pansie** and put on the driving line. Here's hoping GT6 comes through with dynamic brake line only option because the race line in GT5 completely 100% ruins the ambiance of night racing.
** when I say pansie thats nothing more than a jab. I use the brake line in Forza (probably always will - its a brake marker for me - a pretty damn good one) but 7-8 months ago one Thursday night I was just driving the ring by myself at night before the boys got on and because GT5 has no "brake line" setting (all or nothing) obviously I have the line off. When we started racing I forgot to turn it back on and haven't used it since but GT5 has descending yard markers on pretty much every turn so its not a not a big deal.
Some awesome videos. Granted it isn't hard to improve on the out-dated GT5 menus but these are looking real sweet. Also looks like some new/more options...don't recall rim upgrades in GT5?
The HUD looks more polished too especially the tire/suspension status bottom left. That weight transfer bar middle bottom of the screen is new to GT6, seems helpful.
Once you get past the fact GoKarts are automatic transmission only they really can be a lot of fun to race. Extremely twitchy with a wheel but manageable. The sensation of driving close to the ground is very noticeable.
Totally off-topic but I remember one time Fantomos suggested we try this real slow car on one of the dirt tracks. Reason being the car didn't have enough power to drive up one of the hills...literally couldn't make it to the top...stupidest GT5 race I ever done :)
fing awesome!

Does gran turismo still give you a flashing gear number as you approach a brake zone? I always used that in the past to gauge unfamiliar corners...
