Newbie guide for Battlefield 4

1. Ignore the objective. This is for noobs and nobody actually needs it. The game is scored much like golf, so when the other team is ahead 300 points you're doing everything right.

2. Don't move. There are a large number of rooftops and hallways for you to sit in. Eventually someone will pass you and there's a free kill for you. Moving around just gives someone else a chance to take your camping spot which ruins the game. Find a nice corner or something and stay there as long as possible.

3. You're not your teammates mom. Why should you have to keep giving people ammo and health? If they want health they could play the noobtube class, it's not your job to help anyone else out. Besides, if you keep them alive they might take some of your kills.

4. Never ever ever spot the enemy. If you help your team see a sniper, someone else will shoot them and then what are you gonna do? You just gave away a kill!

5. Don't be afraid to waste vehicles. Your team gets an unlimited number of attack choppers and tanks, so if you want to get to your favorite rooftop right at the start feel free to hop in the chopper and fly on over, then just jump out. Protip: If you park the chopper on the roof with you, then you have your very own personal vehicle for when you need to find a different spot.

6. Engineers are stupid. Have you ever seen one of these rocket whores standing near a friendly tank and trying to set it on fire with his little flame thrower? Clearly he has no idea what's going on and shouldn't be trusted with something as important as a tank, so it's your duty to hop in and drive it away from him.

7. Ignore the orange diamonds. Engineers, have you ever seen those big orange diamonds pop up on an enemy vehicle? Don't pay any attention to those, that's just some stupid quickscoper trying to tell you what to attack. He's not the boss of you. You need your rockets to shoot people with, someone else will deal with that tank.

Played with a buddy on Friday. He's in the chopper on his own, so he lands so I can get in. He makes the mistake of getting out. In the 2 seconds it takes for us to get in, a random from our squad spawns in and flies away on his own in the chopper.

LOL!  Great post, but so sad that this is true for many players.  It's amazing how easily you can win games sometimes with just one dedicated squad.
