Oooohhhhhh....... that was sort of awesome for the Ariel Atom...... The sounds were crazy...... the little stutter stepping of the tires beginning to lose their traction. The shifting noises not so much though.... unless the driver was over shiffting for the sake of it. Indy car was pretty cool too, although I was getting a little distracted by the bluriness of the road.
Back in 2011 for FM4 teaser trailer, there was a brief 1 second shot of Yellow/Orange McLaren M7A. I was praying that the car would make would make one of the DLCs but one release after another my hopes of seeing this open wheeled '68 F1 dwindled.
I am being very hopeful the 60's no aero F1s will make one of the DLCs. Lotus 49 is almost a given in any serious racing title these days. Then you've also got to have Ferrari 312 along with Dan Gurney's Eagle T1G and we'll have an excellent race series. I can only hope.
Till then, Atom/X-Bow/E21/IndyCar will have to suffice! Finally, we can have a showdown between an IndyCar and an F1!
Is that Fujimi Kaido or Fuji Circuit? Anyways . . . tracks start talking to me or I start talking to it after about 100 hot laps when I am all sweaty. We sit down and have a long chat about little corners here, little crests over there, long curve around the back and such.
You guys talking about those tracks makes me think that we will never see them again. I'll say it again, I'm tired of T10 being so secret about everything so I'm going with the assumption that , other than the Nordscheife, we will not see any significant track DLC in FM5. This iteration truly feels like a FM4.5.
Oh, and GRD 4 3L... If we ever see those 60's F1 cars in any version of Forza I would be beyond ecstatic. Those and the old 50's front engined beasts are my favorite of all time.
Noot really up on all the older stuff, but I can picture a small green rear engined open wheeler with no wingage, maybe a Lotus or Ford(?) from the 60's? Nothing really on it but a number? Love those old cars. Kinda resembled nothing more than a tube with wheels!
That's what they were, and don't forget the driver sitting in the middleof a tub of fuel . . . with no downforce but fantastic sound, 400+hp on a 500kg car going 180+mph! That keeps you awake.
Throw in old Spa with Masta kink . . . oh man, that's heaven.
Wait, Lotus 49 is coming in the form of Project CARS! And it's coming to XB1 instead of 360 in 2014! Fantastic! Definitely less than 100 cars but many more tracks. I'll be waiting for you guys at Old Spa. Last one to clear Eau Rouge is a rotten egg . . .
Night/Day, weather, drying water puddles, Lotus 49, Old Spa, all sorts of racing cars and super cars, it's the most perfect racing sim on console ever.
Now if it controls like SHIFT or Ferrari Racing Legends, that would totally suck. If it controls like Forza, then I'll spend a good deal of time in Project CARS.
Waiting for people to realize Project CARS will probably have more tracks than the number of cars; but that's the proper way of doing a race sim IMO . . .
OMG!

The crowds look good and the driver flexes his hands at the end of the lap, pretty cool. FM5 is looking so good.
i wanna play NOW

I've never actually watched at race at Yas Marina.... but from what it looks like in this gameplay video..... treacherous!
I've tried it in 2012 F1; it has yet to grow on me. I'm sure it will after about 100 laps on it . . .
I'm not suprised, all those snaky corners one after another might start to feel tiresome
Like Fuji?

Bugatti and myself never had that talk . . .
Admittedly when I say Fuji, I mean Fujimi, apologies...
Ive spent many laps door to door on Bugatti, and love it probably for that more than any other reason.

im really hopefull for project cars, some of the videos are awesome, maybe give turn10 a kick in the ass
