Tracks in Forza 5 complete list
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-11-06-why-forza-motorsport-5-has-...
Wow, WTF is this true. Believe it or not I'm speechless.
Gizzie don't read this.
Forza 5: The tracks
'Ol School....Just Bend Over...Smile...And Say Do It Again MicroSoft!!
I think the fact that the ring is not included says it all for me.
WOW...
Shouldn't this game be priced like the, rushed for launch, FM5 prologue that it apparently is? Hell it could be free with the new system since they plan on gouging buyers with the DLC anyway.
Really shocked that MS and T10 are trying to pull this off.
So salty right now...
Just checking the Forza forums it sounds like the ring will be DLC, maybe they didn't have time to scan all the tracks. Still not good enough as far as I'm concerned.
Fitzy, I have a feeling the DLC strategy will even test the Fanboys.
No way FM5 is a $60 game and it's damned sure not a $560 game. Add at least $50 more for the first 60 DLC cars and then? The game won't be worth the $60 when FM6 is released but will cost a whole bunch more...
DAFUQ?!
Laughable.
Pathetic.

Even though I was not getting the game it still hurts to see what they are doing.
Seriously though like wtf T-10.gif)
What a load of crap. Depending on physics looks like i could be headed to ps4
Almost sounds as if they will have some track DLC yet a couple years ago I recall Dan stating that track DLC wasn't worth it for them so I doubt you'll see too many new tracks until FM6. Again 2 years ago Dan admitted that hardcore SIM racing people like us are not Turn10's main audience and their actions since then support that claim. I've heard FM4 has a feature called auto-vista is that true?
Parcells had never intended on getting FM5 (certainly not for an extended time - if ever) but this track list is still very disappointing to hear makes me sad even.
I Think "That (Squirrel?) Parcells" has hit the nail on the head...Hard Core who spend $100's if not $1000's are not Microsoft's choice cup of tea...And Seeings how I am not a "Tea Man" I will settle on GT6 until the racing weather looks good for me. I mean let's face it .... Some time ago Fanatec was the OFFICIAL Wheel of Forza...Then...Then...Then...It Isn't!...Gotta Love It!..It is almost like Microsoft is saying how far can you not only bend over but how much BS and Additional Cost are you willing to swallow to play their game. From what I see so far...NOTHING!
P.S...That Includes the WORTHLESS Kinect!
Cars and tracks are extra content that can be added-on at anytime; it's just library content.
It's the structure that has to be done correctly and I think T10 has done that very well. Their tire physics are becoming more solid and advanced; drivatars, while sounding rather idiotic, are indeed the most advanced AI the consoles have ever seen (from reading up on them), then there're Bathurst, Spa, and Yas Marina circuits!
Missing NBRing is a disappointment but I was disappointed when I learned that the NBRing that we have in FM4 is NOT accurate; it is a close likeness but not representative of the real thing. Would you you rather have? FM5 in 2 weeks or X months/years later? In these days of online updates, I would rather have it today than 6 months later. I think $60 is a great deal for 24 months of daily entertainment (that's $0.08 per day for FM5 or $0.82 per day including purchase of XB1).
The fact that a new console has to be purchased at the same time sucks BUT . . . I am stoked to play the new Forza on day 1!
As for the DLCs, I am only selectively purchasing content NEW to Forza series. If the car was previously released on FM1/2/3/4/H, then I am not supporting it. LaFerrari, the car is downright ugly from the rear view. If the pack has new contents I'll "consider" it but if the pack has cars already on FM4 then I'll pass.
It's interesting you bring that up, it's something I've thought about a bit, that being the valuation of entertainment economy.
For Example: 1 Movie in the theater: ~$12-14 for 2 hours = $6-7 per hour for entertainment
Amusement park: $50-60$ for 6-7 hours = $7-8 per hour for entertainment
Average ny times bestseller type pulp fiction novel etc... ~$25-$30 for 8-10 hours reading time = $3-4 per hour entertainment
Forza 4: $60 + $50 DLC content.... and how many hours have we played it guys? I'll take GRD's computation easily on that.... I've played at least 200-250hrs (probably 40-50 on career mode alone).
A lot of entertainment value built up in there.
I agree that the cost of the game and DLC is not that expensive however when you add up the cost of the Game+DLC+XB1+Wheel/Pedals+Adapter for headphones becomes nearly $1,000 up front that I just dont have that kind of cash lying around. That and as far as I can tell, there is no guarantee (or mention of from what I can tell) when and what tracks will be added to Fm5. Based on what I have seen from T10, Im done holding my breath as I continue to be disappointed. Yes the game is improved and it looks pretty however its about the content and I feel its lacking for the amount I will need to spend. Yes I will eventually move to FM5 but I may be late next year before I do if at all.
Totally see your point Grim.... The wheel issue is a real let down. If I had a Fanatec wheel as well I'd probably be looking at it the same way (and don't get me wrong, I'm envious of all you guys that have Fanatec's..... what an amazing looking piece of tech! Was planning on getting one myself).
Was just taking GRD's comments as a queue to share some random crap that spins through my head, usually while on the throne, ;)
GRD... I'm betting you won't pass on a car pack that has some repeat content but has a couple of amazing new ones. I only say this because I don't think I'll be able to resist and most consumers couldn't either. That's how they get you. T10 will mix the car packs up just right so that buying all of them is a better value than just buying 3 or 4 of the cars out of the pack.
As far as tracks. Well, I think those are automatic...people will just gobble them up. Curious to see what the price of a track will be.
Why do you assume because I make a decision to buy something I'm being bent over? Count on the fact that your opinion, while offered, and considered, and entiled to it you be, does not control my wallet. While you've been rallying your demons, I've been having a grand old time IN lobbies racing friends.
I'll be buying this, just not as urgently.
ASSUME???...Damn...There IS Something Wrong With You!!!
This sounds a lot like what MS did to Flight Sim. They showed off some great screenshots and talked all this hype. Then it was found out that only a couple of the Hawaii islands would be released and we would have to buy any extra area as a DLC. They even brought in an xbox project manager who promised millions of new people would flock to the "sim". In the end no one liked it, gamers don't want to just fly around in a plane, and the hardcore sim group laughed at it. So they closed the ACE's group a second time and no longer develope flight sims.
Gutted because why release now when you can release in a DLC later.
You know, if you keep wanting normal out of me, one of us definately has unrealistic expectations. Hehe...
Seriously, I've had a ton of fun out of the last revision of the game, and even though this one's not as large as previous, I do get that they are essentially starting somewhat over, and while I don't like how they rolled it out ( I never do), I intend to have fun in spite of them, and in spite of all the nay sayers on the sidelines Why should I listen to someone that's barely touched Fm4 about how bad it was when I had an absolute blast playing it? Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but I've learned that there's more than one, and to think about things abit in spite of them occasionally.
In short, if you don't like it, I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's your feelings and you're more than allowed to have em, but they aren't my feelings. I intend to have fun whether anyone else wants me to or not.

Not sure what that link is but I'm going to rely on Jones first.
Good looking track list, although I would be remiss if I did not point out that GT6 has 37 tracks at launch, compared to 14 for Forza 5. GT6 will have more than 1200 cars, Forza 5 less than 200. I will probably end up buying both, assuming the Xbox One controller works for me better than the Xbox 360 controller.
