I wont be a 'firster' but having just had a phone call to confirm i got a job which i start on the 1st October i wont be too far behind you guys, 2 - 3 months i guess.
I should make all of the Euro races still and i hoping to make 1 or 2 of the US races during the week. By the looks of it my hours are slightly flexible but i will know more next week.
I am still 99% that i will be able to get the Xbox One in 2 months (End of November)
When i posted this for some stupid reason i had it in my mind the Xbox One was released at the end of September. Not sure if it was the shock of getting a job or the fact that i have to get off my lazy arse and go out to work
So .... going back to me purchasing the Xbox One at the end of November/1st week of December i will only be 1 - 2 weeks behind you guys.

Since my Fanatec will be relegated to FM4 use only, I'll be getting another wheel/pedal set also for my second Playseat. Not sure yet whether it will be the Thrustmaster or Madcatz or ???. This means that I can no longer have my buddies over for some offline split screen side-by-side racing, as one seat will be for FM4 and the other for FM5. Perhaps a third seat is in my future???
I pre-ordered the xbone and the limited edition. Will probably go back to a controller until I see what, if anything, will occur with the Fanatec GT2 and club sport pedals.

I'm now 99% sure that I will be waiting to see what direction FM5 goes in before getting the system. Too few tracks, less cars and not many friends to race with or even provide Drivatars. This has been like a gaming roller coaster.
I've had to cancel my xbone pre-order. The finances just weren't there for me right now, seeing as I just changed jobs. I might look into a ps3 and gt6 to satisfy the racing fix for a while.
At this point, it looks likely that I will be getting an Xbox One, but not on launch day. I have about $190 of trade-in credits from a local video game store that I can use towards the purchase of the console. Since I will "need" games to play on it, and only exclusives are of interest to me, I likely will go with Ryse Son of Rome and Forza 5.

It is possible that I will have an Xbox One on launch day, depending on whether the local game store gets a big enough allocation. Whether I get in at launch or shortly thereafter, I will be buying Ryse and Forza 5.
I have gone back and forth about the Xbox One and Forza 5. I am encouraged by the IGN review, in which the reviewer notes that the new FFB features in the Xbox One controller helped him better feel what the car was doing.
I got a call last night from the local Best Buy store manager. My unit is in and ready for pickup tonight at midnight. Was impressed he asked if I wanted an extra controller or anything, they would go ahead and put it with my xbox so I wouldn't have to leave the line to get it. Awesome!
Well, I have a ton of reading and catching up to do, but I just got confirmation my XBone will be here tomorrow morning. I haven't gotten confirmation about FM5, but it should be here too (it better be!!!!!!).
