I don't have a t500 but from making comparison with both wheels looking st different pics onlune the build looks very similar . Both have a single brushless motor as well as belt patterns. The tx casing is smaller but overall very similar , IMO.
What I'm hoping for is that the Fanatec club sports can be used with this wheel. Probably a long shot but you never know.
The second thing I'm hoping for is that the Thrustmaster TH8RS shifter can be used with this wheel. This may not be a long shot. Same company and all...

Was at GS updating my day one FM5 to a LCE day one. I asked if they would be carrying the Thrustmaster wheel for Xbone and they said they were. $5 was all it took to pre-order one so I did. Figured it couldn't hurt to have it locked down. Better than sitting on a waiting list.
I took your advice snappy and preordered mine. Went to gamestop as they are listing nov 22 as availability. Amazon has been listing Dec 6. Was only 15.00 for 1 day shipping. Did it online, and they don't charge your card until it ships

Gentlemen....I Need Guinea Pigs...No Disrespect intended but I am not buying into Thrustmaster unless somebody has the newest for Xbox One and a much needed critique. If and when anyone gets one with the new Xbox let US know so we can make a decision...Sincere Thanks

I'm not sure whether I will get the wheel but if I do it won't be right away. I want to know two more things: 1) will it work on PC and PS3/4 or is it Xbone only. 2) does the brake have a load cell.
These two bits are critical to my decision. I will say this though, I have the TH8RS shifter and use it with my fanatec via an adapter made by Basherboards. It is absolutely amazing! Thrustmaster makes a very good wheel as well. Make no mistake, the t500RS wheel is a good competitor for any of the fanatec wheels except the CSW. Lawyer4Ever can testify to that. He had one for quite a while and raved about the FFB.
It's just very unfortunate that people who want to use a wheel with Forza5 have no alternative but to spend all this money. Even if the tech for hardware is improved, as is claimed, it is still a hard pill to swallow.

Like I said before if by any chance that the csr elite wheel becomes compatible with the Xbox one and if the Xbox one wheel is compatible with the PS4 and pc I will be selling one or the other. Regarding the headphones right after E3 in June Microsoft did post that they are going to have an adapter that will allow you to use Xbox 360 headphones on the Xbox one. You can still use your 360 headphone with the Xbox one if your headphones uses optic connection for gameplay sound.The adapter is mainly for the chat feature.The adapter will be an accessory you would have to buy separately .

I had been waiting to see if it would be compatible with some of the addons, specifically the F1 wheel. Now I'm really debating on buying this. I still want to wait til I see how well it works and like you said if it will be compatible with a pc. I'm gonna have to get a second job to support my gaming habbit lol
