Afternoon all!

Had to drive for 7 hours today with no radio and alone!

Damn you can think some crazy thoughts when your just 'out' there, driving, mile after mile after mile, alone, with no one to talk to.

So anyway I have some questions.

1. What happens if some one is sick in a pool? Does it get cleaned up and evacuated?

2. Why do KFC USA sell Biscuits with there dinner? WTF is all this about?

3. How long has KFC USA had Boneless chicken?

4. Why do Americans drink Coffee and us Brits drink Tea?

5. Why do I spend hour after hour working when you have you lazy kids at home doing fuck all but getting paid for it with benefits? Why don't we just stop paying them free money and get there lazy asses to work.

They say there is no jobs but we could make some up like building prisons, or making them in to Farmers, or forcing them to look after old people like do there shopping and shit.

6. What would I do if the light got turned of here? Over the years this place has become my second home. Most of you guys have become my second Family. I know one day the lights will be turned off but you guys and gals should know it really has been a pleasure to meet you all (even the not so cool guys) and you all have left a pretty large stamp on my life.

The other questions I was pondering are real heavy so will leave them from here.

Cheers

Carry on

5) You're describing a public works program, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in my opinion.  That tends to be a political non-starter here in America.  We did it as part of the New Deal era policies, enacted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt (with a great political cost and much hand-wringing at the time as well).

6) You guys are all pretty solid people, even though you're annoying at times, much like 99% of humanity.  That's why I like the LAN so much, because its an opportunity to rub shoulders with the folks that I rumble with here.  I usually introduce myself at the LAN as "I'm Dixon Tufar.  Yes, I'm THAT asshole."

2. Why do KFC USA sell Biscuits with there dinner? WTF is all this about? Well, gee we eat biscuits for breakfast, NOT crackers...and fries with the burgers, not chips!

Tea all the way and all my real life American friends agree, all you virtual ones are just misguided...Yes there is a shite load of work but no one prepared to actually pay a wage to get it done...If the light go turned out here as they did back in the dark days of the switch to V3 we would be creating facebook groups, Yahoo groups and any other kind of group just to get our fix just as we did then...We are a resourceful bunch.

Good morning 2O2P land. In the run up to my birthday I am waiting on pressys from the US, Australia, Ireland and Germany all winging their way to me via the respective postal services. Gotta love the internet and world wide shopping, Means you can get exactly what you want wherever  it may be. So in a week or so my Race rig and drumkit will get cool upgrades...Happy bunny.

I hate it, but I agree with Dixon. LAN is a great time. Meeting folks for real.. Priceless. There are folks here I'd eat a bullet for before some of my "real life" acquaintances.

Morning! I have to take my kitty Lily to the vet this morning. Hubby has a shit load of problems at work, so he can't help me. My MOM is helping me. I love my mom, but she makes me nervous in situations where I'm already nervous. She had a stroke years ago, and ever since she remembers things wrong, and has no filter...just talks whether she should or not, and says whatever pops into her head. My cat has bad allergies that caused her to cough up blood yesterday..she's okay, but needs a shot to calm her allergies. My mom is CONVINCED a cat i had a decade ago got cancer from this kind of shot (she didn't.). So my mom is freaking out about me taking Lily in. I'm too weak to carry her into/out of the car AND have energy to drive back and forth...so I need mom to drive us...but I just know she's gonna be upset when I ask her NOT to come back to the exam room...but if she comes she will ramble to the vet about unimportant and/or wrong information, make me nervous, make Lily nervous....ugh. Being sick and weak SUCKS!!!!

ANDDDDDD I was supposed to go to the lab yesterday, but refused to leave a sick kitty. Can't go today...if I don't go tomorrow I'm screwed. My doctor appointment is next Tuesday. He's got to have my labwork by then. But the new lab is slow as fuck, and often takes 5 - 7 business days to get my results to him. Even though they're in the same office and all. I can't reschedule, because its my appointment one week before chemo (he's always booked up for a good three weeks). Hopefully everything will be just fine tomorrow morning so I can get my ass to the lab!

There's only one way to settle this, Gunny...race off face off. To make it fair, we'll race neutral cars, muscle cars, on a neutral point to point track, Fujimi Kaido. I'll be on @ 8pm Central, and if you don't show up you have to replace your morning coffee with brake fluid, change your gamertag to OldManCoffee, and write a poem praising Red Bull and its non-cheaterly characteristics. Kitten, I'm sorry to hear about your cat, that seems like an abnormally severe allergy...maybe your cat is allergic to humans. Good luck on your trip to the vet today and to the lab tomorrow.

LOL.

Gunny, never, never...never engage Jones on Fujimi, never point to point, and never in a muscle car...suggest nuetral ground, maybe Nurb GP..and something French to drive...that oughta get him off his game.

Kat, get your ass to the doctor and then fix the cat. It's much easier to get into the Vet than your Doctor's office.

Feed the cat some headphones, apparently they are good for what ails the cat.

Gunny - If you are crazy enough to take him up on it, I've got a '57 T-bird that does pretty damn well.  Jones & I had a hell of a run at Fujimi for a bit over half a lap before I bit off a bit more than I could chew.

Kit - Going to have to back OS here.  Don't make us have to come down there, bind you up and drag you down to the docs ourselves.  161  Hope everyone gets through the day ok and settled down soon.

Oh yeah, morning all!

Okay, kitty sorted!! She has an upper respiratory infection brought on by severe allergies (possibly to humans lol). He gave her an antibiotic shot, and a shot to calm the allergies. Both last two weeks. He said its good I brought her in when I did, because she's REALLY congested.

I'm gonna set my alarm, get up early and hit the lab tomorrow morning. That SHOULD give the lab time to get my results to the doc before my appointment Tuesday.

Whew! Time to calm down, take some deep breaths, and watch movies on Netflix!

Thanks for the support guys. You cheer me up when I'm all RAWRCRYYELLRAWRCRYMORE. :D
