Best learning curve advise I can give is get in and race with these guys. THEY WILL MAKE YOU BETTER!! Im like you and very new to the game and these dudes have helped a shit ton. YES I said shit ton!! LMAO These guys will push you better then any AI opponent.
My disk for Forza 4 got scratched and became onreadable about a year ago. Today I bought a used copy. So, after a year away from it, I'm back on Forza 4. I'm only on level 20. Still have a lot to learn.

Just to add, would you guys recommend removing aids one at a time or all together? Also, im gonna have huge trouble removing ABS as ive always used it no matter what as im very late breaker

How do you brake late with ABS on?
Just remove them one at a time as everyone will cost you time on the track.
put it this way, if i turn abs off i lock up at every single corner or shoot past every single corner lol.
Not running manual yet, leterally getting used to driving again.
Welcome to the clan, amigo...I am the Mighty Sarcasmo Jones. Stripping off all of the assists, either gradually or otherwise, is a personal choice...don't worry about what these old timers think about it and use whatever makes you feel comfortable. I've been racing Forza since the first game and I still use TCS, ABS, manual/no clutch, and a braking line...and I will continue to do so. There's no rush for either one of us, or anybody else. We have all sorts of guys, from purists to outright cheaters and from noobs to guys whom you will only see their tail light briefly until they lap you. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level or assists and I look forward to smoking you on the track.

I think I've already done this before, but I don't know if everything transferred over from the old site so here I am again, XBL is "NALSS9R"...friends and family call me Nal, when I started playing online I had my Cobalt "SS" and rode a ZX-"9R"...from Puerto Rico, 32 years old, living in the sandy southwest part of the USA, USAF gives me money for my hobbies, which are trucks, cars, motorcycles, guns, games...I pretty much just like to have fun, and the easiest way is with things that go fast and things that go boom, and I hope both things never happen at once, that would be a shitty day haha.
I drive a '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, '09 Cobalt SS/tc sedan (one year only, 759 ever built, 115 in my color, not as rare but rare enough, since this one belongs to me lol), and a baby sierra '89 GMC S15 2wd w/2.5L and 5 spd, and believe it or not I enjoy driving all 3 equally. I may have a serious face when I drive, but I have an ear to ear grin in my mind. My wife hates all but the jeep, she picked it over a trailblazer SS I wanted to get, but I'm glad...the jeep is much better/funner, as long as it's on a road, way low for anything else, it's a beast that will hang with a challenger SRT8 and a camaro SS through some winding roads (something I can't seem to do on forza lol), and you haven't lived until you have a 5k pound angry pig with all 4 off the ground doing 100+mph through the desert back roads, the suspension on it is very well designed, incredibly stable, my wife never felt it, sure if it had bottomed it would've been bad for sure. I had to see what it had and no plastic muscle was gonna pull on me lol...Haven't had a bike for about 3 years + for medical reasons (wrecking sucks...a lot, and healing takes forever), but hopefully soon I'll be back on one.
Forza is about all I play, the one game I can never put down, everything else I play for a few weeks but always end up collecting dust. I'm never around when the races are going on, so if you see "NALSS9R" online at the club's lobby just send me an invite...I'm always up for some fun...

I forgot how much I love this game! However, I'm having trouble connecting to a friend. Can't even join party or game. If anyone is willing to let me do some testing, I'd appreciate it. I don't have anyone else right now on my list so I can't check it with anybody else. After extensive research and changing settings, I believe its my router, but I just want tomake sure before I go off replacing it. My GT is Demencia Total (with a space in the middle). If you're having trouble, I'd almost definitely say that it's your router causing the issue. Best way to test is to run straight from your xbox to your modem if that is possible. I probably wont be on again until tomorrow, but will lear some space on my friends list & shoot you a request when I do make it on tomorrow.
Yeah, Eastern Time. Yeah, it is the router, I just confirmed it. My friend has EXACTLY the same provider with a different router and it works fine. I'm going to replace it. I've done extensive tests, opened ports, disabled firewalls, etc and it still blocks communication. I'll get another today or tomorrow. Thanks guy, very helpful.
