New Guy, Looking for H4 Players!
Hi guys, just signed up for the site, great to have a community for us older guys!
I'm looking for some folks to play H4 with, I'm not super competitive but do always play to win. I mostly play BTIS right now, but am open to 4v4 playlists or TTD if I find a group that I work well with.
I'm in the Central time zone in the US, and usually play after 7 pm on weekdays or during the day/evening on weekends.

Get yourself on the friends of friends tag. It's in the stickied threads at the top of the forum :)
You can feel free to add me as well, Ders. I play to win as well, though I play with people who span quite the range of skill in Halo, so mostly it's playing for fun. I try and mention things related to winning the match - especially in Dominion.
So if you feel like playing to win but having fun regardless of the outcome add me.

Ders and Autarch I've been looking for 2 to 90 people to add as friends to play consistently with to increase wins but to have fun as the bottom line (but winning does make it even more fun!)

I've only been back to live for 3 months after a 5 year break ettiquite wise I've been hesitant to contact peeps there that I havent talked with here first, also seems a lot of folks are already in clans or prefer customs. Should I not be so shy about it? Dont want be x box live pest.
Anyhow I like 4v4 slayer best, then SWAT, would do more objective and probably like it if I played with a consistent group with communication, but could play some BTB too. I play most nights after 8:30 EST then random times on the weekend around kids soccer & basketball games and practice. On weekend my son & I play so I may not join in or language would need to be PG-13.
You may want to join a Halo clan yourself! Several of them are for fun loving players, and don't require a lot of your time. Just a thought. You'd have a large group of friends in no time!
No, spamming invites is fine by me. That's how I got into the community back in the day.
There is nothing wrong with sending out a quick invite message. In fact, when you are new it's the easiest way to get in games and start filling up your friends list.
When I spam, I'll send a simple message like "Invite? 2o2p"
I would hope people would respond, but if not, do not take it too personally - especially if you send the message mid-game and people forget to check once in the lobby. I know it feels weird sending messages to strangers, but we are on the FoF tag for a reason, so send the messages.

Send me invites anytime, Ders- Sparty- Autarch. My FL has been full since Halo2- a lot of that is just nostalgia, but I'm always up for playing with new peeps. Just to let you know, Tuesdays and Fridays are clan nghts for 202P Halo, so don't get discouraged if a lot of peeps are playing those nights and don't get back to you on invites.
