Hi JDANKERT
I hate the ring so I didn't take it there but here are my times in the Lexus.
Hockenhiem Full - 1.55.475 Infenion IRL - 1.44.195 Rd Atlanta Full - 1.33.406 Sebring Full - 2.22.259 Silverstone International - 1.31.415 Suzuka East - 0.55.508
I hope this helps!
I noticed somethings with the tune and am going to back some adjustments. I will let you know when I am done and if you would like a copy let me know!
@Sim40 + Darryl Rainss - I'm sorry but this event is currently full. You are more than welcome to put in a qualifying time and be a back up drive if all the sign up drivers don't start on the night.
Very much enjoyed that. Cheers to the lads who came one. Like I said you have one week left to change your car if need's be.
Test Report:
We did have a few issues in the first 2 race's for a few laps, but believe that was mainly due to the fact we had 15 cars with in 200ft of each other all the time! Race 3 seemed to be a lot cleaner.
Please note: When this event starts next week any race incidents must be reported by PM to me and appropriate action will be taken if needed.
The handicap systems seems to be doing its job, especially due to the grid ordering been reversed for race 2 and 3 and only 15 min a race. 8 different drivers got a podium out of a possible 9 chances (Apart from asstrack got a podium in the first 2 races but was unable to get in the top three with 10% cap on the third race)
Other than that most people seemed to have a lot of fun!!
only reason i was able to podium the first race was because of people crashing/lagging etc. somehow i made it upfront but was well off the pace. had a great battle with max in the last race. im still not sure what car to use lol. maybe ford can send me a car to compare to the omni
Real good fun last night thanks guys. I also put my fastest lap in, strange lol faster in a race than on my own lol. Can't wait for the start next weekend.
Something else to consider Church...Not needed but I think it will tighten things up even more.
You finish on the podium you're handicaped 5%...perfect. But maybe you do not lose that 5% simply by not placing on the podium of the next race...what about making the rules to lose your 5% a bit more stringent? I was originally thunking if you place in the last three only then do you lose your 5% but I don't really like that either so I'm not convinced what would be the best threshold to use here but I think it's worth considering. My last thought was if you finish in the top 10 (and not on the podium) your handicap does not change.
Fact of the matter is some of the fast guys can complete very well with a consitent 5% handicap which is the reasoning behind this idea.

I was actually thinking about something similar, maybe finishing in the top half of the lobby means you keep the same handicap.

i like the idea. I would go for mid field, if you place outside the top 8 you lose 5% handicap. Good idea Parcells!!
Parcells is aware of Curches affliction for practicing remedial math but to avoid the obvious half of 15 scenario why not go with a blanket statement finish in top 8 your handicap does not change?
would love to enter this, am i too late ? can join in on qualy session this sunday ?
I will be running a full shakedown this Sunday at 10:00 pm GMT
It will be a full fake race night, consisting of 3, 15 min races with the handicap system.
We will be at Silverstone.
Cheers

Hello,
@kraigger: Thanks and yes, if you'll improve the tune, I desperately want it!!

Great time today!! Think this is going to be a very FUN series. Great job Church !!

A few Pics:
Let the fun begin:
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th finishing race 3.

I can't add my qualifying time of 1:13.236 on the sign up sheet. I will be driving the seat cupra 10.
I have updated the sheet.
PS: The sheet is view only. Lots of numbers on her now

I like it.
Finish in the top half of the room keeps your current handicap level?
Top 3 finish +5% bottom half of the field -5%
Parcells is aware of Curches affliction for practicing remedial math but to avoid the obvious half of 15 scenario why not go with a blanket statement finish in top 8 your handicap does not change?
Fitzy thinks Church should relinquish control of this series to Parcells as he is full of some great ideas.
That is true.
Half of the Ideas in this series are down to the might of parcells brain!
Let's leave Church in control else we may never see this series kick off.
Do as I say, not as I do :)
@ Sherb. So you did!
@Parcells. Why keep a dog and bark yourself?
That's a bit harsh, Parcells was only trying to help. I wouldn't stand for that Parcells. Sit, good boy.
The jokes on Church cause Parcells doesn't have a dog.
