Taking my two daughters to nursery. Low speed and 75 yards from home! Into my neighbours car - kids ok thank god, neighbour ok.fraction of a seconds distraction on my part.
Going to give my girls a huge cuddle when I get them back from our childminder, who was a legend and shot over to get them. Just reminds you what is important.
There is something about starts and ends of journeys. Over familiarity.
You should have just hit rewind man... I hear all the best RL sims have this feature now!
Glad to hear your all safe and sound though, at least you will all be together, safe and warm at Xmas..
The car can be fixed or replaced another day,
i agree that the second hand car maket is actually pretty good these days. We were looking around and even Lotus Elise is well within my price range second hand :) guess what I'm wanting fr my Xmas next year :)
In ssome ways wish it had been the MR2. Looks like we will only get a tiny courtesy car and have to drive up to Aberdeen for Xmas. Crap.
I don't bother with new cars. 2-4 years old and someone else takes the hit. Even 0% deals don't make a huge amount of sense. Suppose it depends if you are into the new car smell thing :)
That sucks. Glad your kids are ok. They do say most accidents happen within a 5 mile radius of your home due to being to comfortable.
Yes, most importantly the kids are OK.
No doubt the close to home accident ratio has something to do with the comfort level but wouldn't the statistical fact that you probably spend upwards of 50% of your driving time "within 5 miles of your home" be the biggest factor? Rhetorical question, thinking out loud again.

I have noticed in myself my average speed tends to creep up as I get onto roads I know like the back of my hand...A habit I try to break. It's that old adage familiarity breeds contempt. Glad to hear your all okay.
That sucks dude, I blame it on church!
Glad it wasn't any thing too serious, they do say that it is the easiest time to have an accident as you've not gotten into driver mode yet :)
:) or Wonka ;)
Guessing it will be a write off.

Yes it does, it is also very scary how it can happen in such a short space of time.
Perfect time to get yourslef a replica of your playboy mx5
, interestingly though, you can get fairly decent cars for not alot of money now.

Noooo not the mr2! Leave that for those pesky patches of oil that appear on the road..
Couldn't agree more, you can get alot of car for under 10k now.

Glad to hear that you and the kids are unharmed.
