Type of player - Support / Objective focus, with occasional Slayer moments; I drive well, esp hog and 'goose (why am I suddenly hungry?), banshee not so much; good sniper if I can get to high cover.
Preferred game types - Whatever my team feels ready for; I think most types are cool, in their own way; when it's time for a change of pace, I love the odd custom setups — mongoose races, rounds of HORSE, etc.
SR Rank 30 - I've been in more than one conversation lately that makes me believe (for now) that SR means essentially zero, but for the record, mine is 30, gained mostly from SpartanOps and commendations to date.

you will see no mongoose races or horse in the competitive team matches. it will be all 4v4 or maybe even some 5v5 on occasion. mostly slayer with some CTF/oddball/KoTH thrown it there.
you will find the casual stuff going on in a group of friends or certain groups "clan night"
Okay, so here's how it'll go. I'll do my best to be on to help facilitate, but I'll form up the teams here. We will also reshuffle teams after the holidays, because this time is pretty packed for a lot of folks. If you don't want to reshuffle, you don't have to, but if you do want to reshuffle, or get a new person or two in your team, we'll be doing that as well.
Another thing: don't make a name for your team. The community will make a name for your team instead (credit to OMGLazer for the idea). Again, we'll tentaively reshuffle after this go-around as well. After you get put into a team, make a thread for your team and start setting up some practices or some times to play. There's no problem with bouncing from team to team, when it's all said and done. Some folks will mesh well, some will not. If you have a teamwhose members haven't all posted in this thread and haven't said they're interested, please feel free to start a thread up for that team. Please tell us who is in your team. It is usually a good idea to have 5 or even 6 people on a team, in case you need a substitute, or in case schedules are dicey. Know who is in your team and please act accordingly.
We'll start playing this Tuesday. Let's ideally get these games played on a Tuesday, but if not, let's count the span between Tuesdays the time to schedule the matches and play them. If you don't play before Tuesday, both teams don't get their scores counted. If you're a man down, grab a substitute. I'll try to build in substitutes, but take initative on this matter.
Play the best 3 out of 5 in custom matches. This week is:
Relay Ball
Simplex Flag
Lockout Slayer
Again, you have from this Tuesday (the 18th) through the following Tuesday (the 25th) to form/finalize your team and get with your opponents to play three games.
Please use the most up to date versions of these maps and competitive gametypes in my fileshare or Midnighter's fileshare. If you have the capability to record matches, please do. Let's let everyone see these games. We do need some folks to help out with this, with capturing games and even making team signatures, so if you can help with this, please let me or Midnighter know.
So, to recap, there's a shortish list of folks playing so far. Let's get more because we're starting this Tuesday and have one full week to get this week's games in. It's a pretty busy time of the year, so if you are or have someone who is flaky on your team, please know that and build a reserve or two into it, because if the game doesn't get played, it simply won't count for either team, and that's not fair. After the holidays, around the first week of January, we'll reboot and start over again, so folks have a better idea of what's going on and what their schedules look like. I'm sure there's something I gloseed over, so please let me know if there are any questions. So stop reading this and start forming teams up. Let me know if you need someone. I'll pick someone at random or "random" to fill that slot based on skill where applicable, but I'll try to get more eager folks in and playing on your team faster. It'll be bumpy for this first go-through, but we'll iron out the kinks for the 2013 version.
I've posted as a Free Agent recently, but now I'm already packing to drive cross-country and back for a week to do some visits with family and friends. So looks like I'm out until the new year. The rest of you have fun — I will check in and be available for new teams or as a sub beginning Tuesday, Jan 1st.
