SPM Question
Can anyone explain how score per minute works? I've been looiking through my stats on elite and some matches I have 0 even though I had kills. I've also seen people with a final score of 1400ish and have an spm of 2400ish. So how is this calculated?
Gig all I know its pretty straight forward, points/ time, but your kill streak points don't count on your overall score.
how is that not factored in? You get 10 kills that is a 100 points per kill which gives you a 1000 point match...say the match lasts 7 minutes gives you 142.86 spm. At least that is my thought. So..I just don't see how anyone can have a higher score per minute then they have actual match score.
if you look at the end of the game in the endgame medal section, each game you generally earn medals, like most kills, best k/d ration, most time spent in objective, etc. those give you extra score points towards the end as well, but they don't show up strictly on the game exp stats. I think you're confusing the exp listed on the stat page. that exp is coiunted as score, but the medals add points towards your score as well. and those medal points are not considered exp.
Ahhh...now that makes more sense. Thanks
Edit: Actually looking back into it and after having gone through some scoreboards that isn't right. Medals are xp based not score based.
The score shown is divided up by time in match. For example:
Above it shows me with a 142.45 spm...that is based on a 10 minute match and it averages out for most of the scores. Rambler has a higher spm 121.98 then is 1,110 score because he was kicked for team killing (hardcore) so he was only in game 9 minutes. So it is straight foward...just my thinking of them having been in the entire match was wonky.
