Frankie comments on Halo 4 Dexterity Mod.

Makes sense. Just like a louder gun may cause you to choose it over a similar one but without the feedback.

Frankie 10.6.12

We expect it to be heavily used but if you think about how often you're killed while reloading, when in that normal animation you get killed and how frequently you get to reload clear of danger, you can see its utility shrink (defensively) but that said, iit's on of my go-tos in part because of the psychological feeling of safety it provides.

Yes but it scales to the reload time of the thing you're using.

It's like Sleight Of Hand in Call Of Duty.  It certainly was a nice thing to have, but you're also picking a few perks for your character, not just one.  Dexterity seems like a pretty "Default" perk to pick, honestly.  It'll certainly engender itself to the run-and-gun audience, and the folks that might be coming in from the Call Of Duty universe.

Frankie's first point is interesting, though.  He's pointing to how often you get killed while reloading now, but having Standard and slower reload times mean the chance of getting caught somewhere while reloading should probably go up.  Remember, kids, for the times Sprint got you out of trouble, you forget the times that Sprint got you into trouble.

The bolded is me and I've already considered how many times I've been killed while reloading. A LOT! Not kidding.

So if fewer people actually used dexterity, there is a potential I could win a few more head to heads.

I think this is a function on weapon choice too.  AR against a DMR at any kind of range and the AR guy usually runs out of ammo before the DMR guy is dead. This perk helps that situation. (Not saying you are the AR guy Deep.) wink

Normally, I don't die during a reload.

Only time I get killed reloading is because of their stupid double reload animation.  Not my fault.  Also, nades in Reach are overpowered mini-nukes. :(

The nades in Reach seem to have pull towards me. I really feel like they have auto aim.

usually if i'm killed while reloading it's because i won the battle, reload, and i'm killed by the "second gunman" that i wasn't aware was near.

it's very rare that i'm killed reloading because i ran out of ammo. if i run out of ammo in a battle, i switch to my secondary. it does happen where i'm out of ammo in both weapons, but not often.

I may like it. I always pick a bad time to reload just because I don't want to be empty, and I don't watch the weapon meter.

For some reason I got into the bad habit of reloading way too often and I get killed a lot while reloading.  This might be the one for me as well.

Depending on your accuracy, you shouldn't need to reload as much with the quicker kill times (less bullets) in H4.  Similar to H3 when you cuold kill 2-3 people with one clip.
