Your data is corrupted
I logged into BF3 last night to be greeted by a message telling me my save data was corrupted. All my unlocks are still there but they appear as new unlocks. I played a few games and everything seems to be fine.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep ... Im thinking that my SP saves may be screwed, but the MP wasnt affected
Must be related to the last update so.
yea happens to me all the time lately......sucks resetting all my kits but at least it doesnt take stuff away.
I lose data in games all the time. This same thing happened to me, it was only single player data. It was all gone. I was finished and have all the single player achievements so I didn't really care. Multiplayer data was all there. I could care less about my stats, just wanted my unlocks to remain and they did.
