What I hate about Best Buy and TRU

This happens without fail -- every time there is a bunch of games I need to pick up, Best Buy sends out their Reward Zone coupons for 10% off video games for use the weekend before.  So, next week we have CoD4, Lego Star Wars (for the kids, I promise) and Scene It!  Naturally, the coupon is good only until 11/5.


Toys R Us always seems to time their "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sales right before good games come out.


I understand the business logic behind it, but as a customer, it irritates the hell out of me.

Darth - Sometimes if you ask nicely, they'll let you use them anyway. I've gotten away with it a couple times...

I'd by the Simpsons game for $29. I expect within 2-3 months, that's what it will be selling for. Same story on Viva Pinata Party Animals.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has noticed this. You can almost set your watch by when you're going to get a BB coupon if you know there's a release that you're wanting coming up.
