I had heard good things about this movie. I wanted to like it, but in the end, it just didn't do much for me.

It's not that it was a bad movie. It just seemed a little overblown, overcomplicated, and overdramatic for what was actually going on.

You know the plot. Good ol' Leo enters people's minds, sneaks around there, and steals (or perhaps plants) information. Sounds like a decent enough sci-fi yarn, doesn't it? I love themes like that, in themselves. Sort of a Dreamscape meets The Matrix, all focusing on the question: "What is real?"

Today we just got back from a family mini-vacation at Wolf's Lodge. And after observing the very many half-naked bodies all around me, something started to annoy me.

What is with all the freakin' tattoos?

Unique, Bizarre, Outrageous, Weird, Satisfying, and Cool…

Good, but Somewhat Lacking

When I first put it in, my initial impression of this game was how awesome and cinematic it is. But as I continued, and now that I have finished it, my opinion of it has gone down. Familiarity breeds contempt, I suppose.

I can't wait for this game, but what I am reading has me worried. Qucktime events during combat? No Flying Swallow? That doesn't sound like a Ninja Gaiden game at all! And the fact that Team Ninja isn't doing it... I suppose the feeling of dread that I have is the same feeling some Halo fans have about Halo continuing without Bungie.
