6 Inches!

No Jeep and LB...  get your minds out of the gutter...

We got 6 inches of rain yesterday.  That's a shitload of rain in less then 24 hours.

To continue with Dastard's theme of no regret Tattoos:

Rain, Rain, Go... FUCKIN "A"

It's been raining here in Dallas.  All day.  (Still is) Not your normal spring shower either.  It's been coming down in sheets, and it's apparent that there maybe some flooding.

So, on my way home from the Gym, I'm  driving along, taking my usual route home when...

Now, sorry for the poor picture quality.  That's from my cell phone camera.

Denied!

Tried to go and donate blood today at my work's annual blood drive.

I haven't donated blood in quite a long time.  I've been denied before, but that was because I had gotten a tattoo recently, and another time because one of my tattoos had gotten infected.

This time however, I cleared all the obstacles for donation without any trouble until they asked:  "Have you ever served in the Military overseas for over a total of 6 months?"  Answer:  Yes

Road Rage

So on Saturday, I drove my wife and child up to Wichita, KS to meet the In-laws and transfer ownership of said family to them for this upcoming week.

On Sunday, I drove back home, and witnessed one of the worst cases of road rage I've ever seen.

I'm driving south on I-35, just north of Oklahoma City (about 10 miles north) when two cars get on the interstate from entrance ramp.  One was a Toyota Avalon and the other was a Suburu Outback.

What was interesting, was it appeared that both vehicles entered onto the interstate side-by-side.

Wounded Warrior March

WASHINGTON -- Cpl. Kenny Lyon's mother pushed his wheelchair down a narrow Pentagon hallway, crying as she listened to the applause.

Hundreds of Defense Department employees lined the corridor, cheering for Cpl. Lyon and the other wounded military personnel who walked or rolled past. Some of them patted Cpl. Lyon on the shoulder, while others shook his hand or leaned in to hug his mother, Gigi Windsor.
