I told the facility manager last night that if he can get HR to go along with it, I'm in.  He told me he could manipulate them to get this, so we'll see.  I'll know more on Monday, maybe.

I'm still going to blog about that town hall we had the other week.  I'll probably get into it this weekend.  In the meantime, for those of you who haven't checked it out yet:

I had a talk with my immediate boss today, I wanted to go over what the facility manager told me and get some more feedback from him.  And more importantly, I wanted to know if I had a future in my current department.

I've mentioned this other woman in my department who's on maternity leave.  She's a coordinator.  On more than one occasion my boss had told me that when she went on leave I was getting bumped to coordinator.  She's been on leave a month now.  I'm not a coordinator.

As I mentioned, I rented a couple movies over the weekend.  I already shared my thoughts on Death Proof, the only thing I'll add is that 2 and a half days later I still don't regret not watching the final 25 minutes of it.  'Nuff said, I guess.

I was taking a little nap yesterday evening when I woke up to discover the power was out.  Checked the cell phone and it was about 9 (nice nap lol), called a buddy a couple buildings over to see if his stuff was out too.  Turns out there was a power line laying across 75th st, just down the block from me.  Great.  So I hung out a bit (should've recharged my Zune, dammit!) and then decided to call it a night and go back to sleep.  Of course now I'm up early, but nothing fatal.
