My wonderful wife got me something for Christmas, that I've been wanting and dreaming about for over 2 years. Some of you may not think it's very romantic to send a web-link to your significant other when asked what you want for Christmas, but I'm a practical guy. So that's what I did.

And this is what she bought me.

So, I'm not a very consistent blogger. Sure I've blessed the interwebs with my occasional bursts of brilliance from time to time, but I've not been the model of consistency. That's probably all going to change, at least for this semester.

Are you kidding me? The Hurt Locker was horrible. "Son as you get older, you'll find that there are only a couple things in life that you truly love. For me one of those things is war..." Gimme a break, it didn't deserve best picture.

Not that Avatar was deserving of it either, I think it won the awards it should have except for best director, but there had to be something better than Hurt Locker out there.
