Quick Update

First of all, thank you all, so much, for the thoughts and prayers. It was a long night last night, as Stacy and Megan didn't get into a room until after midnight and didn't go to sleep until after 2AM. The news we have so far is that she has pneumonia, with a partially collapsed lung. This is what is causing all of the heavy and labored breathing. She also has Croup. I am getting ready to head down there for a little while and not really looking forward to seeing her looking miserable. Stacy called this morning and told me she looks awful. Looks worse than yesterday, which was bad enough.

Prayers needed

We took Megan to the doctor this evening because she was having trouble breathing, a bit labored, and she was very weazy and raspy and a temperature of 103.9. They think she may have pneumonia and have sent her to the hospital. Stacy took her down to Scottish Rite, around 7PM, while I went home to be home the boys. I know I've asked for this before, but all prayer is welcome. We are a little uncomfortable in the fact that Mito kids usually have one incident that turns their lives from somewhat OK, into a downward spiral.

Adenoids, Tubes and Morphine..Oh MY!

Hello everyone, Ian and Megan are home from their surgery this morning. Ian has morphine in him to help and Megan has another type of pain med (thank goodness since she cannot handle morphine) so they are both very sleepy, raspy and just laying around right now. We will have to wait to see any results though. Please pray for them as they are both very congested and sick, they started out that way yesterday, so they really aren't feeling good anyways. They were both excellent patients this morning! I will update more later, just wanted to let you know we are home.

The shirt off her back...or jacket

A story of giving. No money? No food? How about the shirt off your back, or in this case, a jacket? It happened and it was a blessing. I wouldn't have thought of it, thank goodness she did. God bless my wife.

Button, Button, whose got the button?

This is a button Stacy designed for us to wear around to help spread the word about mito disease. Very much awesome, can't wait to get mine. :)

The website she used was: www.buttonsofhope.com/

You can make them for a number of reasons. And we are stoked about doing our part to raise awareness.
