My Mini-game reviews

So this weekend I got in some 360 time with Cranefolder.  Sunburned Goose was nice enough to let Crane borrow his 360 for the weekend while Goose was out of town.  So I headed over to Crane’s house to see what all the hubbub was about.  We got to play a few titles including some live arcade stuff and here’s my reviews of what we played:

Happy Birthday Cranefolder!!

Today is Cranefolder's birthday!  I didn't get him any strippers, booze, or cigars, just a lousy blog entry wishing him a kick ass birthday!

Peace!

Auditory Assult

This blog addition was enspired by my friend BatmanKM.  Ive been emailing, or from his persepctive spamming, him with new music, snippits here or there that I think he would like.  I thought to add this to the blog to share with other people too in case anything grabs anybodys interest.  There isnt a full review but rather a collection of singles that people can check to see if they want to dedicate to a full album.

Zion I "True and Living"

One of my problems with looking for new music is that I can tend to be a little short sighted.  I’m always looking for the artist/album that pushes the boundaries of hip-hop, music that challenges the listener in their notion of what defines this musical niche.  To that end sometimes I miss out on great albums simply because they “throw back” to a time period without adding anything novel and thus do not garner my immediate interest.  This is a sin I need to stop committing since I miss a lot of valuable and well done alb

Backpack Thugs 2005 Megamix

One thing I really enjoy listening to are mix CDs by hungry DJs trying to make a name for themselves. Take Danger Mouse’s “The Grey Album” for example, a CD unsurpassed in its quality of mixing and sheer size of huevous required to dare mix the Beatles with Jay-Z. But you know what? It fucking rocks your socks off. That album put Danger Mouse in the freakin’ spot light where that mastermind belongs. At any rate, when I come across a CD that dares to do something similar I try to grab it; especially when the CD only runs 5 smackers as in the case of

Intro and Junkie XL Review

Although 2o2p is a game oriented site I wanted to use my blog space to talk about one of my other past times that I enjoy. So for the most part I will be using this area for music reviews. I tend to buy a lot of music; at least I consider it a lot. If you applied Cranefolder gaming budget categories to music buying then I would consider myself a Donald Trump. Who preorders CDs the nanosecond they are available? Me. Who has difficulty leaving a music store with out 3 or 4 CDs? Me again.
