You're Approved, Next

Well I managed to squeak into the UK without any issue. Apparently they allow anyone to immigrate into their country :-) Got my passport stamped after answering some tough questions (what are you doing here, how long you staying). It's a bit odd being in this direction of the timezone, normally if I'm anywhere it's California and my Honeymoon was in Hawaii back in 2001, but being at GMT+0 is a bitch.

Heading to the UK.

Getting ready to prep my first trip to London from Sunday through Wednesday morning for work. Should be interesting, got my plans all set, got my adapters in check for the laptop and phone charger and now I must go home and pack.

Going to only bring Carry On luggage so I got to go buy some elf toiletries so I don't get beaten down trying to bring a whole 4oz on the plane :-)  Last time they stole my energy drink, mouthwash and toothpaste. I had to go hunting expensive stores to buy it, this time I'm fighting the system with elf sized items!

Is It Bad When...

So I went to the UPS drop-off store with my Xbox 360 "coffin" and, typically, I have to declare what it is to the dude at the counter, however, this time it was different.

I go up to him, drop the box on the counter he looks down and goes "Xbox 360 eh?" So, I said to him, "Um, yeah,... how did you know?" knowing there was nothing on the box to describe the package yet expecting I already knew the answer.

Cocoto Magic Circus Video Review

My wifes latest video review on Cocoto Magic Circus, kinda neat...the game footage is me and my 4-year old daughter playing the game.

I did it, I paid $99.00 to repair 360

A few months back my Xbox 360 Premium pooped itself, after 3 years on my shelf, she finally gave it the good old "shitty hardware" try and crap on itself. By crapped, I mean the video card died. Had it red-ringed I'd be in good shape and gotten away free of spending cash, but alas, no red rings...just a dead video card.

Any Collective Soul Fans?

Or, fans of acoustic guitar playing, you've got to checkout these two live acoustic songs played on Greg and the Morning Buzz up here in New Hampshire. I've always liked the band but I highly respect a guy (in this case, Ed Roland) that can get up on a mic in a radio station early and the morning and bust out a couple awesome songs. Luckily, the radio station puts their awesome content on a podcast feed so I pulled it, encoded it and here it is:

She Said - Ed Roland Acoustic
