This weekend was the Milwaukee Rumble tough-man competition.  I didn't fight in it this year, as I've kinda let my weight get out of hand and I didn't want to fight in the heavyweight division (which is 185-400 lbs).  I've cracked 200 lbs for the first time in a long time and I really feel like a fat bag of shit.


I need to start training hard and I need to start today.  I'm going to be just shy  of 40 years old for the next fight.  I will need to be lean and fast to compete with these guys who are half my age.


In my next blog, I'll talk some more about Fight Night Round 3's training aspect and the 8 attributes affected by training.

Get a Wii..\r \r While the boxing wont improve your skills you can do the moves (basic ones), helps with your speed, cardio, mobility and is fun.

I'm not much of a gym rat myself but I recently took to riding a recumbent bike everyday and I can feel the difference. You may laugh, but I play a lot of table tennis and I've lost a good amount of weight doing it (around 25 lbs).\r \r It feels good to work towards a goal. Good luck and remember it only takes a little bit of time each day to feel better and reach that goal.\r \r

Falelorn, I have a Wii. I just wish the boxing were more accurately sync'ed to my movements. I did the training mode the other night and my punches just don't go where I throw them or when I throw them. If it did, the Wii would be a hella fun version of shadow boxing.
