For sure, the reason we play games will differ from person to person, but I am also sure that we can all agree we play games to be someone else, from Sam Fisher to Kratos to a powerful character in the latest Role Playing Game.

But I have wondered, is the immersion I feel playing these games important to everyone? Do some people play games just solely for entertainment purposes? Or do we sometimes wish we could drive a race car at 200 mph and shoot rockets at other cars or snap someone’s neck while we go to disarm a bomb?

Welcome all to the new filler of my time.. my gaming BLOG on truly wonderful adventures in RPG and MMORPG. I love all types of Role Playing Games, from the classics like Ultima that live in a hybrid fantasy world, to EVE Online in a vast universe of ship to ship combat and selling everything from ore to sex to the highest bidder. Over the last 25 years I have played everything from Text Adventures, MUD’s, MMORPG’s, Adventure Games, RPG’s, PnP, LARP, and even wrote my own stories (which I do for a living, not a great one but a living), and created my own adventures for D&D, NWN, etc.

Well here we are another Friday..Thank god!!

I have been asked how I make my sigs so I thought I would make a blog post to try to explain it. I am no graphics designer nor do I have expensive programs to work with so I improvise. I use Paint Shop Pro 6 for editing photos and PhotoImpact 10 for the lettering. I sometimes also pull out Microsoft Photo Editor 2000 (Office 2000 Suite) for cropping since it is the easiest for me to use.

Remember this might be the difficult way of doing it since I don’t know anything about graphics design or the programs I use.

Hello everyone,

Just let me tell you how excited I am that I found this website.  Im excited!  There, I told ya.  The boys and I are sick of the attitudes found in Halo2 matchmaking, so hopefully this website will turn up some good guys and gals to play with instead.

There are 11 in our clan, 6 that play regularly, and 4 of us can usually be found on any given night playing a few games.  Were not big on clan matches, but we always try to play together if we can because you just cant count on random teammates anymore.

You know your a video game addict if......

1) If you go out to your car for lunch and have to listen to your favorite video game soundtrack.

2) If you own everything that relates to the game.

3) When you go to sleep at night you dream of it.

4) You have written your own script of the game with you somehow written into it.

5) All you can talk about at work is video games.

Well it is Friday and anothe week of work is almost at an end..Boubt freaking time!!!

I have been a little frustrated recently with my H2 play...I feel I am not getting any better and it just grinds my freaking last nerve. I do not like to be a burden on my teammates, if they are getting a good kill to death ratio then I better too...Oh enough bitching..

Just so you guys know the blogs are going to be a little screwed up for a while.  Im really trying to add more features, but as a lot know i like to break things

I remember the day when I was good at Halo. I was actually killing those in my path, and for that day, I was feared.
Now... well I suck. I get shot when I take a breath of air. I run around like a fool.
The problem I have is I cant get a balance between defensive playing, and aggresive playing. When Im defensive playing, I dont get the kills I want, and when I get aggressive I die too much.
Basically, Im an idiot.
I know what I need to do, for the most part. Im just too dumb to do it at the time.
Maybe my spartan needs an upgrade. Who the hell knows.
