Ok so another end, to another week. This week went pretty fast, not to much to really piss me off about. I have been trying to bid on some component video switches on ebay. I really like the Audio Authority 1154 since it also has optical for the audio..I lost out on one auction because I did not meet the guys reserve price. I could do a buy it now for 179.00 but the damn thing retails at 179.00 and my high bid was 165!! What an asshole..I bet his resever price was 178.00. Oh well..

Well here I am preparing for a new year on the job, updating the database and data entry templates when I come across a problem. My templates werent loading into my database. I check and recheck the code and I find no errors. After about 2 hours trying to get it to work I reluctantly call my companys help desk (by my partner’s request), set up an incident ticket and await a call back. Well while I am waiting I decide to keep working on the problem, this time starting from the beginning as though I had never made the input template or the macro to enter it. Step by step I go through it again.

This is were i get to rant and rave and carry on ....you know just like my posts in the OMM forum. :D Ill probably get a little less "PC" here and speak a little more from my gut...those of you that follow the A Team thread are probably thinking right now..." you mean he has been holding back on us!!! thats hard to believe! :lol: )

Well, I was scolded for not adding to my blog in a while.  Great, I have started something else that can get me in trouble by doing nothing.

Had a great time last night with KidMach, Count Fartula, and my brother Vega1818. We played some Q4 for about an hour, both Deathmatch and CTF. It has been great rediscovering Quake on the 360, I used to play Q1-Q3 on the PC with my Clan of the Caveman, but after my Twins were born in 2000, I wasnt able to as much, and Lan parties were out of the question. Now with the 360 I do get some time when they go to bed to get in some great Quake online action.

whats up everyone, well I thought that Id get my blog space started here on 2o2p. :-D

the only thing I really have to write about right now is the fact that Im trying to learn some new languages. specifically, PHP/MySQL and JavaScript.

Ive recently taught myself HTML and CSS. And comparing those two with the formerly mentioned languages, they were pretty damn easy.

but anyways, I dont think anyone wants to be bored with my ramblings about web design languages. :-D

I recall a time when most games I played where purely in English.  Times have changed though, and Ive noticed more and more games are being built with at least five major languages that are selectable.  Many of these are done "on the fly" which is extremely cool.

I have an Acer TravelMate C300 Tablet Laptop and Im thinking of perhaps trying to sketch up some comics (in the likings of penny arcade) that represents some of sgreth, dsmooth, and my conversations about gaming and games.

Perhaps every friday or something try to draw up a silly converstion (in comic form) loosly based on one of our stupid arguments about games.

Dunno, just a thought.  And since blogs are for thoughts, then perhaps this is the place to express it.
