So I have been struggling with my recently acquired Robotron coin-op cab, trying to get the screen to correctly display. As some of you may remember, the play field was displaying too wide, leaving approximately 20% of the action off screen. Well today i received and installed a new width coil and it did the trick. My Robotron cab is now performing properly and ready for some ass kicking. My first goal is to break 1 milion points, and then to shoot for the world record. Think I can make it? Stay tuned to find out.

Stocking Up the Store

This week I made a very difficult decision. I "sold" the vast majority of my video game collection (games only, kept the consoles) to our shop to help build inventory and get this thing really booking. In the process, I got some much needed money and will also snag a percentage of the profits on the back end. I did keep a few of my favorite games so that we still have something to play at out next video game BBQ. Truth is, most of these games were sitting on the shelves collectiing dust. Anyway, here are some pics of what I dropped off at our shop (inside Comically Speaking in Reading, MA BTW) and some nice boxed stuff that came in this week as well.

Boxed NEO GEO

boxed Sega Master System

Boxed Sega Genesis & Accessories

Boxes of Sega Genesis, NES, N64,  & SNES games that came in

Various Stuff I Brought In

We are updating our web page at www.comicallyspeaking.com to allow for direct internet sales, so stay tuned and let me know if anyone out there is on the prowl for that special vintage gaming item.

I used to love Sports Talk Baseball for the Genesis. It just got annoying because it would still be calling plays that happened like 5 minutes before. I think I still have all my NES games plus their boxes somewhere too. I have to look.
