I've officially abandoned my quest for the perfect Temple Guardian build in Sacred 2.  Its a utility class and quite obviously not meant to be soloed with, and I'd almost say its broken except the cooldown times on some of your key abilities tell me that this was quite intentional.  Oh well.  I'm working on a High Elf based on a build that I found on the Dark Matters forums, although I modified it a bit to fit my playstyle.  One of  these days I will get a toon to level 200.  I may be 200 years old before it happens, but it will happen.

I'm going to pick up my son tonight down in Kankakee.  Since he's been living with his friend's family we decided a good way to accomodate the 150 miles in distance between us was for my son to grab a train in Champaign with me picking him up in Kankakee.  He enjoys the ride and I'm not putting the other family out too much since Champaign is only about 35 minutes away from them.  My sister and her family are coming out tomorrow and we're going to celebrate a slew of birthdays in the late morning.  My sister's birthday, my niece, my brother in law, and mine; should be fun.  Its also probably going to be the last weekend I get with my son for some time, as school is going late for them this year because they had a teacher's strike early in September and then had more snow/weather days than they alloted for.  Then once school is out my son starts football camps and then practice.  I might get a weekend in late June, we'll see.  This is the toughest part of the year for me because once football starts I usually don't get a weekend with him until wrestling is over in February.  Ugh.  This will also be the first time he's seen the new tv/sound setup with the headphones so he should enjoy that.  This is going to be one of those weekends that goes by way too fast, I can tell already.

Being its Friday lets have a laugh with some clips from The Naked Gun.  I tried to find a clip of the national anthem but everything I found had the audio out of sync so it wasn't usable.  There's going to be a few videos more than normal since I found Siskel and Ebert reviews for all 3 flicks and thought I'd throw them into the mix.  Also the first video might be NSFW, check the video title and decide for yourself.  :)

If you haven't seen the old Police Squad TV shows with Leslie Neilson, which were made in the 70's, they are hilarious. These movies were based on those shows, and had most of the same characters.

Good call. I bought the whole series on dvd a few years back. Remember the celebrity cameo deaths in the opening credits of each episode? John Belushi filmed one that was supposed to air right after he was found dead, and the network decided to scrap his appearance because they thought it was in bad taste to air his fake death right after his real death.
