Shared on Thu, 05/05/2011 - 08:39I've decided that once I get the tv back from the shop I'm going to put it on craigslist and sell it. Nothing wrong with it, but I found a set I'd rather upgrade to so I need to sell this one, hopefully ASAP since this one is on sale only through Saturday. I'm thinking $600 would be a good price. The set I have currently is only a year and a half old and goes for $900 new, plus I looked into it and the warranty (good through December '12) can be transferred to whoever buys it. So hopefully I'll get it back and today and be able to get rid of it quickly. Either way I have to sell this first because there's absolutely no point in me getting a new set as long as I have the one I currently do.
Decided to play some Dark Age of Camelot last night. The guild I'm in is in semi-hiatus, a lot of these guys have been together for at least 10 years and through several games and apparently around this time of year people take breaks for a bit then come back. That should be fun, we're one of the top (as far as I'm concerned THE top) RvR guilds in Hibernia and we frequently cause problems for the Mids and Albs, although since those 2 realms seem to have a lot more players they tend to zerg the shit out of us in the end and eventually we fall to superior numbers. Of course our 1 group ruining 2-4 of their groups at a time eventually leads to them calling for help, and when you're running sometimes 6 or 7 in the group and get hit by 40 players its tough to survive. :)
I know most people on the site play WoW, but if any of you out there play Hib and are looking for an rvr guild I've been told we're recruiting. The odds of anyone who reads this actually still playing DAoC AND Hib are probably the same as getting hit by a meteor, but at least I can say I tried to recruit. :D
I think for today some novelty videos are a good idea. Inspired by the very excellent video LadyisRed posted yesterday, here's Mister Tim playing Enter Sandman on the kazoo...well, 4 kazoos:

And how about some pure cheese from the 80s? And yes, I actually like this song...got a soft spot for 80s music.
