You are deemed old enough to decide if you want to get baptized, and you are allowed to join the congregation's cub scout pack. Not that he isn't excited to be baptized, I think he might be more excited to join scouts. lol Since Shakes is a Scout Master and has spent a lot of time this summer doing fun things with his troop, Andrew has been anxiously waiting to go play with the scouts too. You know, so he can run around with a knife, and blow things up, and start fires... lol
Shakes took him out to dinner on Wednesday and then down to the scout store where they spent exorbitant amounts of money on scout gear. (at least I have three boys that will use it, so that makes it not quite so painful lol) Andrew came home and got dressed in his spanky new uniform and strutted around the house for an hour in it until I sent him packing for bed. .

I have to admit that seeing him all dressed up like this makes me feel old. Im not just a mom to babies and toddlers anymore, but now I have big kids too. And to be quite honest, it kind of scares the hell out of me. This is a whole new ballgame.
