Planting Flowers For Megan

So, I'm sitting here wondering what I'm going to type and I realize I have yet to let everyone know about the day we are having this weekend, to plant flower for Megan. She LOVES flowers. As Stacy mentioned in her blog, no matter what is going on in her world, no matter how bad she is feeling, she will always cheer up when she sees what limited flowers we had in our little "garden" area in front of our house. So, we made plans to dig up all of the old bushes and flowers and give it an overhaul. Hence, Flower For Megan. We are inviting anyone and everyone out to the house to help in the effort. So far, we have about 12 people coming, including a certain 2old2play'er, who I won't mention because he's not QUITE sure if he can make it, but will try to fly out here from OK. :) That invite goes out to any one at 2old2play as well. I know there are a few of you who live in the Greater Atlanta metro area, so if you want to, come on over. We would love to have you visit. This is going to be just a good time to spend with friends and a great time to spend with Megan. If anyone needs directions or has any questions as to what to bring, let me know. As far as flowers go, any flower will do, but we suggest something that will grow back if picked. Megan's hobby is to pick flowers every time we get home from going somewhere. She gets out of the van and heads right over to the flowers to pick.

We have 10 bags of topsoil coming, along with the three bags we already have. What we are needing are your hands to help plant them. A lot of the hard work has been done already. Stacy, along with my brother, pulled most of the bushes out on Saturday, so we will basically be starting with a clean slate. Some tilling will need to be done and then the planting will begin. Thanks goes out to all who have been involved in praying for us, and sending your heart felt thoughts. This is going to be a good time, and I will be posting pictures early next week.
