A little background on Digital Domain. www.digitaldomain.com They have been involved in a ton of movies and commercials. Movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Stealth and more recently Flags of Our Fathers. They have also done some cool commercials. They did Burger King, Motorola and Lexus to name a few. So, having said that, they are good at eye candy. Which is pretty much all we saw. The commercial did nothing for me. It looked like a preview for a new cartoon on the Cartoon Network, to run during Adult Swim. Only thing I got from the commercial was that it showed the shield. Nothing else. Oh, and it was a teaser, not a trailer. Trailers usually run in 2-3 minute spans. With the shortness of the actual ad, hence the teaser label. When they show even an ounce of game play, THAT'S when it will get interesting. Until then, stop teasing us with stupid Hollywood eye candy, because that is all that was. In the short amount of time that was on, only one new thing appeared, a shield. No story, that could be understood, and no game footage. Had it been an actual trailer, maybe one could piece together some of the storyline. Hell, they could have put MC on the beach, playing volleyball, and I think most people would have liked it. I would rather not see anything until the game comes out, rather than Hollywood-style excerpts of nothing. Give me content. Give me substance. Give me something more than what I saw.
