It is definitely not a record we wanted to break. When I talked to her GI doctor this morning he said it looks like we are going to have to put the GJ tube in her. This is a tube that bypasses the tummy. We were really hoping that didn’t need to happen but when you are going on almost 2 weeks of this you feel as though there is no other option. The bad thing is they can’t do it right now due to the holiday weekend. We talked to Dr. Schoffner’s office and they said to give them 2 more weeks and see what kind of progress they have made on her test results. They said that he didn’t want to give bits and pieces of information, he would rather give us everything all at once. We understand that but it still makes it very hard, especially when she is like this right now. She is back down to 16 pounds, which could be worse, so we are thankful for that but it is still not good. Megan’s surgery went pretty good, we had a few issues but they were resolved thank goodness and I brought her home early that afternoon. Although, I will admit she was VERY cranky but who can blame her. So I guess that is about it for now. All we can ask is to just keep on praying. It is very hard to see her go through this again and still having to wait on test results. Thank you guys so much and God Bless! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

EDIT: Since this update was written, on Saturday, Megan has actually had a couple of good days without vomiting. She has had some incredibly bad diarrhea. But this is being cause by her medicine for the infection in her stomach, caused by tube irritation. I mainly posted the update to let you know that she is being considered for the new G-J tube.
