This is the update from some news we got yesterday. It's kind of short, sorry.

Here is the latest. They want to do a biopsy on Megan’s intestines but because she is sick and her weight is so bad they can’t do it right now. They had to put a catheter in her for a little bit today because they thing on top of everything she may have a urinary tract infection. He is also having more blood drawn so they can check her kidney functions and test for another disease but I can’t remember the name of it right now. He has taken her formula down to the 20 calorie and she handles it much better than the higher caloric intake. I guess she just can’t take a high calorie formula. They have to place a tube down her nose and throat every so often to suction out all the yuck that is in there that she keeps choking on. Other than that we are just waiting for her to gain some weight and taking it day by day. She can go from having a good day to feeling really bad and you just never know when it is going to hit. Thank you for your prayers. We love you very much!

And now for the song. I'll admit, I hated this song. Not because it's bad, but because the radio station here that plays it, probably plays it 400 times a day. It's Stone Sour's Through the Glass. Kind of hit home last night.

Through Glass

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel, that is the question
But I forget, you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of hope
So while you're outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

How much is real, so much to question
An Epidemic of the mannequins
Contaminating everything
We thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises
(No more sad voices)
Before you tell yourself
It's just a different scene
Remember its just different from what you've seen

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you, yea yea
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you, yea yea

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you, yea yea
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you, yea yea
And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you, yea yea
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you, yea yea yea

Who are the stars?
Who are the stars?
They lie...

Here's the video, for those who don't know how the song goes.

Yeah everytime I read I hope for a message of her being able to go home or some breakthrough or discovery. But it will come in time. Keep strong and have faith. God be with you.

It sounds like Megan's doing better, yey! Interesting that the lower calorie formulas she handles better. My prayers are still with you. C'mon Docs, you guys can figure this one out.

We'll keep the prayers coming...eventually they'll take, you'll get some really good news, and get to get out of that hospital and back home.
