Hospital visit

So, I went to Scottish Rite to visit Stacy and Megan. She was doing pretty good. Playing in her bed and watching Toy Story. We went for a short walk. Short because she is worn out after a few steps. She accidentally pulled her IV out, OUCH! It was a bit messy, but she took it like a trooper. Got to meet with Dr. Blumenthal (GI doc) and he says that with mito patients, each cycle is a storm. A storm we have to weather. Let me tell you all something, this is our first storm in over a year, and it's been the toughest yet. Having said that, we know a TON of people are praying for us. Let me close with this story:

Matthew 8:23-27

23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" 26 He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. 27 The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"

Life's storms come without warning, and come swiftly. One must be ready to immediately decide where to put their faith. I know where mine is. How about you?
