I know I make fun of my wife on occasion for being a “City Girl”…..well, this is my formal apology, yes you are a gamer, have started drinking beer, talked about going hunting, are shopping for handguns with me….and applying for a concealed carry permit with me as well….but after hearing one phrase come out of a co-workers mouth, I take it all back, every time I EVER called you a "City Girl"….you are the perfect wife any guy could hope for….

I was looking at myself in the mirror this morning (something that I rarely do since I am actually quite ugly. And started realizing exactly how old I look…hair starting to recede (which matches my bald spot, but not in a good way.) I can’t recognize the belly that overtook the 6-pack abs I had 10 years ago… my face is scared up accenting my bad skin….yeah, 27 years old and I look and feel twice my age….

ok, so, Friday wasn't too bad...the restaurant was oud enought so we didn't hear anything anyone was saying....but Saturday, my sis did come by to see our house, its the second time she has been in our house in the 3 years we've lived here....so it was a bit uncomfortable for everyone....except our cat who got to have her belly rubbed for about 10min, she was pretty happy about the whole thing.  But I got no work done on the basement, that kinda sucked. but I did get a good amount of drinking in....so it wasn't all bad.

My sister is coming down for the weekend and is pushing us to go out with her tonight…no real reason mentioned….she called (that’s the biggest reason to know that something is up…) said some stuff about mothers and fathers days and how she was unable to visit for them…..but she came down about 3 times since then with no mention of it…..all it took was one look at my wife and I knew we were both thinking the same thing….my sister is pregnant…has to be….she could never keep a secret and it’s way too easy to see that she’s trying to hide something she’s excited about…

I am trying to set up a place to start working before I grab my gear from storage, but while I do that I’ve started working on a recipe….I’m not sure if our local home brew store carries all of this, but I should be able to track down each of these online...
