The Beer Belly Files (3)

Welcome to another glorious Monday. I'm sure everyone is happy to get back to work! Okay, I'll shut up, don't hit me. During the events of my last post, I was also tasting my beers. They were all delicious but had varied effects on my gaming. Coincidence? Eh, probably but if you're a superstitious gamer I'll give the data anyway. The first two brews tout themselves as very popular in their respective countries as well as the world.

12 hours of Gears of War

No, I didn't studder. I played Gears of War fo rabout 12 hours straight yesterday. 12 hours, 15 minutes to be exact. I started at 10:15 am est. I was working the single player mode on casual and just got around to finishing it. Don't get too down on me about just finishing casual play. I just got my 360, GoW and two other games a week before Christmas and a week ago I got Rainbow Six Vegas. Between the other games and all the online play (I still play Halo every week also) I've been putting in a lot of gaming. I vow to work on hardcore and Insane ASAP.

TGIF!

I swear to you all, when I looked up at my desk this evening and saw that it was 5:15, it was a truly religious experience! I am very ready for the weekend. I have my beer (which I'll tell you about on monday so stay tuned) and my pc and my 360. Throw in some grilled meat and nothin could be finer.

To start it off, here's a video from Boz Skaggs. I love his mixture of R&B and jazz. His music is definately good for singin' in the shower.

Why The Hell Are We So Mean?

We are a bunch of mean spirited, ill tempered jerks in this country anymore. Not only that, but I believed were all becoming mentally unstable as well. Take for example the plight of the homeless in the city of St. Petersburg, Florida. They have had it a bit rough for the last several weeks. First off though, I want to break the stereotypes we like to use of the homeless. Yes, there are the drug addicts and the criminal element (no they are not the same thing),  and of course some straight out bums.
