After something like 38 days of straight rain, we FINALLY are getting a break here in Northern California.  Weve shattered all previous rain records which is just nuts.  Seattles had something like 2 inches of rain so far this year, Oaklands had almost 9.  So much for the rainy state haha.

The silver lining is that we wont be hurting for water this year like years in the past.  Usuall it starts raining around the end of Feb and its pretty consistant until end of April, mid May.   Then its pretty much dry with maybe 30 days worth of rain scattered accross 8 months.  So we can get into a drought pretty easily.  Not going to happen this year.  No water rationing, woo hoo!

Of course all this water means mud slides.  Dumb-asses who built their houses on the sides of hills and ripped out all the trees to improve their views have their houses  now being red taged.  If your house has a red tag on it, you cant go in it again, they have to demo it before it slides down the hill.  I can only tell myself that people who build and buy houses here on the sides of hills havent done their homework before they dropped $700,000 + on their shacks.

So anyway like i said, the sun is freakin out !  I may have to strip down naked and run down the street to maximize sun exposure today to recharge.  Have to enjoy it today because theres another 7 days of storms lined up off the cost.  Can i just say how much i freakin hate the jet stream?  I think we should put huge fans on top of the hills to blow that stream north to Seattle where it belongs !
