Activity Based Gaming Groups - Whacky Idea Incoming
I intend to try a slightly new idea for Halo REACH and subsequently Halo 4. It will not be unlike the GamerTags (GT) used for Friends of Friends Lists (FL).
Starting this Thursday Night ~9:00 to 11:00 Eastern and every Thursday night thereafter, I'll be hosting a Halo REACH party. Any member of 2old2play.com can participate.
For now I will be relying on my own FL and those of attendees. Eventually I may create a special GT and FL.
If the party gets full, someone may be asked to host a second party. Or you could start your own party using similar attributes. Popularity will control this event.
Attributes of the Thurday Night Party:
Customs only. No Matchmaking.
All Skill ranges. That means terrible to excellent.
Your personal attitude should be very forgiving and fun loving for this event.
Casual competitive.
Mostly Default to slightly odd custom gametypes.
Mostly Default with a few custom maps.
This event has no Clan affiliation. Any member of any Clan can paticipate.

thursdays are rough for me, but when i'm available, count me in.
i love playing with new peeps or hooking up with some that i haven't seen for some time...and of course the usual suspects.
Won't be on for many Thursdays this month due to work. Next month and beyond have some hope though!

Maybe the Forza bunch would be up for a mongoose or warthog race!?!

I hope other party leaders will eventually step forward and offer a variety of Halo styles on the same or different nights. It's all about offering services and seeing if they fly.
Then I hope people will come back to this forum to share the aftermath.
For the Thursdays I can attend, if we have enough I have all the btb.net maps and gametypes if they want something a little more original after playing a few whacky gametypes. :)
