Bump racing etiquette
Bump racing etiquette
I've been running into an issue of sorts in the public rooms.
Generally all the drivers are at least ok. Try to race clean, fast or slow, pretty nice bunch. There are those however that either broke their braking button, turned off abs before they were ready, or have only played nfs and are wondering why these cars handle like "teh suck".
Anyway, how many times can they knock you around until you do a pit maneuver (nudge their rear bumper with your front bumper and they magically find the wall)? So far for me it's around 4-5. Now that I'm wearing the 2O4C I'd rather not hurt the club reputation or my own, but some of these people really, really need to be fed to the wall.
What are your policies as far as dealing with troublesome drivers? When the ban-hammer just won't bring the satisfaction.
Hmm, have you met Jones yet? He made us a couple SUV's for that...
Of course, this is an Unofficial opinion...
It really depends on the situation, if your racing at <100ft apart then you are going to make a few nudges.
But if they are deliberately blocking (weaving) and knocking people off the track, i'll put them in wall as i go by :)
However, i dont race in publics anymore because the guys here are just too awesome :D
+1
the quality of racing in the public lobbies is garbage! I find maybe 1 in 10 races youll find a few good racers that will run clean and fast, but then half the room doesnt finish and the shit drivers start voting them out. I pretty much just use the publc lobbies to test new tunes and my reflexes lol
Never go to the hoppers any more, met a handfull of good clean drivers there that I still race with from time to time in a private lobby but on the whole they're just a mess of Timmies.
I'll give em the benefit of the doubt on the first two...then I bring a truck. However if they hit me from behind on a straight under acceleration I go straight into retribution mode...but then again I may be overly sensitive about my paint.
I will put the 2O4F Revengemobile tune and paint up for free in my SF...payback's a bitch!
Heehee, should be a hoot! Thanks! I'll try to only use them when the situation calls for an escalation :)
On the SF
I pulled the paint because it has the phrase "payback's a bitch" on the bumpers and didn't want it to go under review...but I sent you a FR so I can gift you the paint.
