Picked up a New Game for the Arcade Today

I have wanted a Bosconian for some time. This game is pretty hard to find "in the wild", so when I saw that a fellow collector from New York had one for sale for a reasonable price, I jumped on it. Thanks to the Massachusetts Arcade Game Underground Railroad, I was able to pick up the game in Western Mass and didn't have to drive all the way to the great state of NY to pick it up.

since some folks were helping me out, I decided to "pay it forward" and pick up a second game for one of my fellow collectors who lives in New Hampshire. I delivered the game to my house, where he met me to snag it, a case of beer in hand as payment for the transport.

I got the game in my basement with my friend Tom's help. The game currently is not working, but should be a pretty easy fix. It needs a new power supply board and maybe some tweaking of the monitor. For now, it will sit in the lineup dark, but I hope to have it fixed and playable in time for my pre-PAXEast party in March.

As you can see, I also have a NEO GEO that is pretty much ready to fire up. It just needs a working 25" monitor to slide in it. I currently have three project cabs (these two and a multi-Williams project that will ultimately play Joust, Defender, Stargate, Moon Patrol & Bubbles).
