You cannot do that, you are dead.

 

I tried the “awe, it’s dead….now we can get that Mitsubishi 85” DLP and IF I manage to fix this one, it can go behind the bar in the basement.”…..it didn’t work. but the rush order is in and the company we ordered it from understands our need and are rushing the new lamp to us..

 

 

The weekend.

We met Natalia (my parent’s master’s degree intern.) We met her and my parents at a local restaurant and celebrated her 24th birthday. Yes, she is 24. Short blond hair, freckles, an awesome accent (a mix of polish and british) yeah, I’m with my dad, she’s really cute. Then the talk starts, she wants to go shooting…..not just “I want to shoot a gun”, but wants to get in a lot of practice and build some skills. Well, that we can do. She wants to learn rifles, shotguns, and pistols....this should be fun.

 

This Saturday was a bit of a change for us…..we left the house.  not just to walk outside, but drove to Canton for their Apple and Cheese Festival. The one time of year this sleepy town of about 3,000 tips the scales at around 30,000 We met my parents, my sister and her husband, Natalia and my sister’s in-laws there. It was fun, tons of festival type food, whoopee pies, fried pickles, funnel cake, candy and caramel apples, apple dumplings, maple cotton candy, local cheeses, and funnel cake!

So, after dropping $60 on just food and eating everything they had, we hung out at my sister’s in-laws’ place for a while and drove the long 3 hour drive back home (with a massive belly ache from over eating).

 

I also received an invite up there for some bear, deer, bobcat, and possible wild boar hunting. Guess, I have to get my hunting license this year.
