Shared on Thu, 09/02/2010 - 12:53Work sucks, spinning my wheels, and trying to figure out what I really want to do when I grow up.....I know, I'm 28, I am (in a way) grown up. and yet, here I sit looking for a change of carreer. I would say that I hate being an accountant, but I'm not even an accountant, more of a legal consultant and inter-departmental liason than anything. despite that sounding like a really dull job, I assure you, it is 10x more dull than that. I send out applications almost every day now, without a single call for an interview.
But on to the important news.....WoW news!
So, lvl16, and money is flowing much easier now. But my "friend" is still lvl 9, and expanding in the level of needy-ness. Actually that is a massive understatement, she (I’m sure it’s a she now) will not even fight a lvl5 creature without having me there to back her up. And when I’m 2 regions away, 3 levels underground, fighting creatures 5 levels above myself, I can’t exactly drop everything, and loose 3 hours of progress because she got herself into trouble trying to get to me…..and by “trouble” I mean she was fighting a lvl10 lurker and losing horribly. Meanwhile, I was either mining underwater, fighting some strange giant fish, and getting cut to pieces by hoards of evil dwarfs…but don’t worry, I’ll drop everything, travel half way across the continent just to kill something that you’d be able to handle yourself if you’d quit running away from everything.....So, I am REALLY looking forward to starting our real characters, and going to a different realm. Still no updates about the laptop, we still don't know what's even wrong with it. I hope they get back to me soon.
