Office Space

I love the movie Office Space, being someone who works in a cubicle farm, it hits so close to home.....a little too close.

I managed to have an anxiety attack today....why? well, let me give you a tour of my work space......

Here is the lovely view I get to the north, looking in the dierction of our state's capital building, overlooking the majestic marble buildings, soldiers grove, and some very beautiful parks.......

here is the fiew I get to the East, looking over the old (former) Harrisburg Steel plant, with it's big old brick buildings, the State Street bridge with its large eagle topped towers guarding the entrance ot the capital complex........

and to the south, overlooking the Beautiful old looking harrisburg train station, and on a nice day you can see all the way to Three Mile Island.

And finally to the West, overlooking the Susquahanna river, more of the capital complex parks and some beautiful old buildings.....

sorry, no picture here, my co-worker didn't exactly want his picture taken.....but lets just say it looks alot like my views from the othe 3 directions.....

but it's not all bad....I'm in the running for another promotion.....where I will have the exact same views, but I will be located about 100 feet to the East....and ge tpaid a very very small ammount more.

yes, that is my destiny, as far as I can possibly get promoted, the only thing that changes is my geographic coordinates.....and the pay, but honestly, what's money if you hate everything you do.  its not even like I believe in what I do, I work for a department that I am firmly opposed to everything they do....and as a major part of my job, authorize them to spend Billions of dollars.....yes, Billions with a "B".   

So the Search for what I want to do for the rest of my life continues.

sorry, just having a crisis of existance....a bit of "Cubicle Fever"
