Computer Crashes, Car Troubles and Other Happy Occurrances

Well, some of you (ok, maybe one or two at least), may have noticed that I have not been around much since my last post. Shortly after my BBQ and game day in celebration of my birthday, our home computer began to act up and has now officially been prounced dead, deceased, non-living. It is an ex-computer at this point. Either my power supply or mother board has bitten the dust. As the machine is over four years old, I suppose that I cannot complain too much. However, until money and time allows, my access to the internet is limited to breaks at work and some limited functionality via my Blackberry. I decided to stay after work for a few minutes, catch up on some emails and let everyone know that I am not dead (yet) myself.

I am still working hard to pull together the pre-PAX_EC event with SFX_360. We recently experienced a setback with the loss of our first choice of venues. We simply could not pull together the amount of money we needed for a deposit to secure the location. So we are now looking at downsizing a bit, which may provide a blessing in disquise. Due to scheudling conflicts with the original venue of choice, we were forced to schedule our event earlier in the week than we had ideally desired. Now that we are looking at alternate venues, we can host the party on the Saturday during PAX_EC weekend and thus hope to see some of you there. I hope to have more details soon, so bear with us and I will keep you posted as new info is confirmed.
