Shared on Tue, 09/29/2009 - 13:41It is amazing how much morale can improve with the removal of one individual, it’s like working in a new office since we traded our buzz kill co-worker for a non-working Fax machine (which turned out to have a mostly full toner cartridge, SCORE!!). I suddenly didn’t dread my trip to work. Everyone is in a much better mood and we were able to bring in doughnuts without having him grab 6-7 of them and leave too few for the rest of the team.

A rather large package was found one floor down from where I work….it contained a large quantity of white powder. The building was NOT evacuated. but they did keep people from entering the bathroom where it was found. It turns out that the box was left in the bathroom outside of the social security office….looks like someone left their “supplemental income” in the bathroom for safe keeping and went to pick up their Social Security check, and either didn’t get back in time, or completely forgot about it….yup, big ol’ box of LSD! Someone is kicking themselves right now.
