Well.....oops

 

            In other news, a discussion had popped up about how our office will handle swine flu (if it has to)….as it stands for our office policy states that if one of us gets it we are to be off work for no less that 7 days AFTER ALL SYMPTOMS HAVE SUBSIDED…so 2 weeks (give or take a few) off work on paid sick leave?? And all I have to do is get really, really, really sick?....tempting….and who knows…if this thing mutates into a Zombie virus maybe the people who got it early on will be the ones who are immune…

 

           I’m still skeptical on how bad they say it will be. But it does make me laugh that PAX may play a big part in the spread of Swine Flu….I know, lots of people are potentially sick, and I do feel bad that they are fellow geeks; but come on, no one else secretly wants to witness the fall of civilization?   We’ve already seen planetary alignments that only happen every 10,000 years, Comets that only come around once every 5,000 years, historic wars, the fall of one of the largest countries since the Roman Empire (the USSR) tons of space travel coolness, the development of computers and all the stuff that goes with that, and of course Jeff Dunham ….what haven’t we seen? A good old-fashioned apocalypse….while I would have preferred it be a zombie apocalypse…a regular one just wouldn’t be as much fun….but still interesting...so long as it happens AFTER Bioshock 2 releases…I will be really ticked if I miss out on that….
