Shared on Mon, 08/31/2009 - 08:58I haven’t logged into XBL in a few days, haven’t blogged in a while…and my blood pressure is much higher than normal. Makes me wonder why I’m taking these at all.
But we did file for our Concealed Carry License, it should be finalized Wednesday, and we are shopping for a nice, all purpose handgun also. Yes, it was a bit of a political statement to apply. No, I do not intend to carry on a regular basis. We work in a state building where we are not permitted to carry and I won’t trust leaving a gun in our car, so there would be a very limited window where we can carry, and odds are it would be from our house to the range….so why get it? it’s my way of voting to keep my constitutional rights and keep these psycho “I’ll decide what’s best for you” politicians out of my life.
I know I’ve been trying to avoid politics, but I’ll just mention this quick… I’m tired of hearing the news tell me how much I should care about Ted Kennedy….lets face it, he was in office too long, and had a bad habit of telling people what they should believe instead of listing to what they DO believe….he was old, he was sick….he died…but at least it might help break them of the habit of telling me how much I should care about Michael Jackson…..so why do I listen to the news at all?….because I’m trying to find out if the PA State budget passed yet (no, it still hasn’t) and trying to hear if they will layoff any more of us...300 already gone with an estimated 1,000-1,500 more in October.
Other than that, I’m still bored. Still tired. Still just….meh….I expect all that to change once ODST releases…
