Man was not meant to fly...

...otherwise God would have given us wings.  Isn't that how the saying goes?  I should listen to old adages more often.  Why you ask - because I let my youngest talk me into going on Superman at Great Adventure last night, after a day of of sun at the park.  I'm not a huge fan of rollercoasters, but I don't mind them all either.  The only ones I can't stand are the 'traditional' coasters that give you that stomach-dropping sensation.  That I can't stand.  But I figured...8 year old begging Dad to go on with him, plus it's a steel coaster, so should be nice and smooth.  Not too long of a wait.  Ok, sure, I'm game.

WTF WAS I THINKING?  Normally it wouldn't have been too bad, but the coaster is so compact that it transitions from one element to the other so fast you can't really prepare.  The new Bizarro coaster, on the other hand, is probably twice as long, as more serious elements to it, but has transitions between them that lets you see what is coming, and roll with it (no pun intended).  Will I ride it again?  Yeah, probably, but only because my son and daughter will guilt me into it.  Peer pressure SUCKS!
